WEEK ONE: COMPLETE

I landed here safely last Saturday around 3:30 and since then my life has become a lot more flavorful to say the least. I share a room with four other wonderful ladies, they arrived on Sunday like most people, so Saturday night was a bit boring. Monday morning was the start of the never ending lectures. Well, let me rephrase that, the never ending yet informative and inspiring lectures. This week's topic was "Hearing God's Voice", taught by the joyful Greg Griffin, co-starring his wife, Jan. They were super nice and generous. By that I mean he gave out candy left and right; it was awesome. My daily schedule has looked like this: busy. Hopefully next week will be a little less jam packed, but I doubt it. On the brighter side, the food is amazing. Monday through Friday we have a wonderful chef named Wong. Saturday and Sunday are our days to see how much microwavable food we can intake before feeling sick. The staff here is great. With most of them I can't tell if they are my mom, sister, or next bestfriend. Bottom line, they are fantastic and I am so blessed by them. After a full four days of craziness, we had a purely insane day. Yesterday we went to Red Rock and went climbing. Not just your walk-up-a-mountain type climb, but a full blown, knees busted, hands hurt, legs are shaking, type of climb. As scared as I was of falling to my death, I loved it and definitely am ready to do it again. One girl on my team ripped her pants, in the worst area, it was hilarious. Besides the exhausting days, the funny moments, and the mouth-watering food, my relationship with the Lord is sky rocketing. He has begun to convict me, stretch me, and refine me in so many different ways and areas. I love it. I love where I am, the people that I am with, and the direction He is pulling me. Thank you to everyone who helped me get here! If you would like to support me you can go to ywamlasvegas.org/donate/ and contribute through them, just be sure to add my name in the memo/description box. I am still in desperate need of funds for my outreach phase. I hope this update helps! Let me know if you have any questions. I'd love to answer them! I would write more but the team is making a trip to Wal-Mart and I need a washcloth and rice cakes. Love you guys so much! Xoxo
