I Must Admit... I'm Not the Best Blogger

Let me start off by saying sorry for the lack of blogs I have posted. It has been a crazy two weeks. Mondays are not that noteworthy, so we can just forget about those - sorry Mondays. Tuedays though, whew, those days are the BEST.. and worst. We have lectures for about 7 hours, but then we get to do outreach! Last week's outreach we put tape on our mouths and stood on the Las Vegas strip. We had two peoople that could speak; I was not one of them. It really changed my perspective, because I am so use to talking. We were representing the women and children that are being trafficked and do not have a voice, and people would look me in the eyes and not even stop to ask what was going on. My blood was boiling, but it was a good anger. It fueled my passion for those who cannot spea for themselves. This Tuesday's outreach was tough. We got into small groups, painted a picture on a sign, and went out on the strip and tried to get people to ask what it meant and lead them to Christ pretty much. My team's picture represented the hopeless life without Jesus vs the lively, beautiful life with Him. Wednesdays are pretty chill, so we can skip over those. Evey Thursday we have a thing called Deep Places, where we get to just pray and proccess. It is time set a side specifically for God and it is UTTERLY FANTASTIC. I look forward to it every week. It starts at 8:00, so thats twenty minutes from now. The excitement and anticipation is real. Friday nights are track focused outreachs. So last Friday, Abolitonist DTS did a prayer walk down Tropicana Ave, one of the most well known streets for traffickd women, of age and under age. God really showed up and it was so cool. I asked to speak to 3 women, He gave me 5 women I was able to pray for. Not sure what we will be doing tomorrow, but I know it will be great! Over the weekend we went camping at Mt. Charelston. You'd be surprised how much a 45 minute drive can change the weather. It may be hard to believe but being on top of that mountain was freezing, but there were trees and heaps of stars, so it was well worth it. Camping for YWAMers included: no tents (because we are all broke), almost peeing your pants - several times - from laughing, singing accoustic worship songs around a fire, and making friends with other campers. It was great, and made me appreciate my bed here so much more.

Quick summary of what I've learned: Being that last week's topic was Identity in Christ, God really spoke to me that I must have faith in myself and who He is, because He lives in me. So that's pretty cool. This week was Cost of Discipleship and God reminded me of what I need to do to be a better discipler and disciple. Also, discipling is not just sitting down and having coffee with someone, it is a lifestyle.

God is really moving and refining me. It is so so so good. I'm about $2,500 away from having all my outreach fees covered. They are buying plane tickets soon! So if you feel like blessing me, which would mean so much, look on my homepage for directions on how to donate or message me! Sorry this was so long, I'll try to be more frequent!! Love you all! Please be praying for me, in every which way.
